We are glad to see you took the time to visit us here. My name is Mettler, one of the members of the Bong Patrol. I have put this site up to support our get together at Rock Fest. I have added some useful information and pictures here for you to use and enjoy. I will continue to update this web site as new things progress. There will be no updates during the Fest as we will be busy with the obvious. The important thing here is to check back for all the great pics from 2008 and any additional news that may develop.

As usual I am late getting the pictures posted. Due to a camera malfunction, 3times. I am limited on the photos that I took.

Oh my God, RockFest 2008 is Here.
Well this is a last minute update.
I am leaving today (Sunday) for Fest.
Stop by and say Hi, We are at M-80 again.
Oh YAH! Rock Fest starts today (well for some).
I have a feeling this is going to be a big Big BIG year for the Party Zone. The only place to go for your RockFest NightLife.
1. The Party Zone is all ready to go. This includes Bong Patrol, Kiss Army, Party Bus. The area is over 30 sites at M80, L80 and N80. All activities will be active including but not limited to Bongs, Music, Shadow Tent, Dunk Tank and Fires.
2. Bent Nail will be back at N60. Voted Best Bar at RockFest.

3. A C-Store 4 miles west in Jim Falls is much closer than Cadott.
5. Need a fun Bar???? Jeff and Vanette (long time Festers) own the Damn Shot Bar in Jim Falls (4 miles West), Stop in and check them out. They have AC ,Ice Cold Beer, Tasty Shots, (jell-o and apple pie shots), and sail boat races.
6. Your cheapest Beer and Ice can be gotten from Joe LaNue down on the corner of Highway S and Highway 27 (1 mile East of Fest). You drive right by if coming from Cadott.
7. Need Breakfast, The Crescent Bar has a Buffet to die for (1 mile East and 1 Mile North on 27 from Fest) and there is also a Restaurant in Jim Falls just 4 miles West of Fest.

Now for some news: This year Big E, Kevin and Paige will not be attending. I have spoke with Captain Jack and he plans on attending at least one day of the fest this year. Check in with us at fest to find out what day he will be there.
Looks like it may be the Biggest Year of Fest Ever!!! Great!!! Can't Wait!!! See You There!!!

This last week Renee Metzgar lost her son Nathan. This is a very sad time for all. He was loved by all and if you met him at fest last year you loved him too. See Obit here. Another picture here.

TicketFest went well, We will be at M80 again. Kiss Army and RF School Bus also got the same sites. The Bent Nail will be back on the Fest grounds this year. They have gotten the same spot at the end of N61.
This means the Party Zone will be in full swing this year. We will be preparing for the biggest year yet in the Party Zone.
The Line Up for this year may be the biggest of all time. With KISS, Godsmack, 3 Doors Down, Boston, DeepPurple, Saliva and Collective Soul as the top names. I do know that the 3 TBA Spots will be bigger names also. Can't wait. Check Line-up here www.bongpatrol.com
